UnitedHealthcare is at the beginning of a digital transformation, I partner to inspire and lead teams on human centered design engagements across our business. My focus is web, mobile, and identifying ways to connect personal health devices in new and contextual ways to personalize digital experiences.
Users experience brand touchpoints in an omnichannel environment, I look at UX through a holistic lens to understand and design meaningful ways to connect with users.
My approach to product, service and experience development integrates Design Thinking and Agile business methodologies.
Trained as an Industrial Designer my work has been at the intersection of physical, digital and retail/healthcare environments.
Quick prototypes and mockups help bring concepts to life, I like find people can respond to a concept better when their is a physical model.
It all starts with the person that is going to use the product, service or experience, I lead in ethnographic style in home, in office, on-the go, or shop along research to develop a deep contextual understanding of who we are designing for.
I have had the opportunity to deliver design across multiple industries for leading global brands.
Once research is complete, we develop insights to inform concept development. During this phase many rough ideas are generated that visualize the product, service or experience for the team. I will go through many iterations to find the right solution to meet the user needs and develop differentiated solutions for the business.
